Hi. FCPX keeps crashing all of a sudden on my MBP 13 i7 dual core TB model. It was running fine and dandy before but after about 20 projects it keeps on crashing now. I could hardly use it..and if I could its painfully slow. Anything I could do to get things to how they were?

I’m guessing you’ve tried trashing the preferences with Preference Manager?

But have you tried moving FCPX to the Trash and redownloading the app?

    It sometimes helps.

Gerald, are all of the projects still in the projects bin?

If so, hide the ones you don’t need by moving them in another folder temporarily, or get Event Manager

    https://assistedediting.intelligentassistance.com/EventManagerX/

It’s $5, and as much as I wish I didn’t need it, it’s worth it.

Thanks guys..I got it sorted out. I did the preferences trashing method and a very delayed software update and suddenly it feels snappy again>:)

Im thingking of getting an ssd for the mbp, you’d think that would help FCPX dramatically or not much?
