The shotgun mic that I bought is defective, & the audio I recorded only comes in on the right channel. The Left barely outputs anything. Is there a way to at lease duplicate what I’m getting in one channel and have output it to the other, so that the audio comes out of both speakers. Please help me defeat Murphy’s Law.

In the inspector you can set the audio to dual mono and then mute the left channel.

What kind of shotgun mic did you get? Is it a stereo mic?

First off thanks for your help!

The shotgun mic I’m using is the Azden SGM 1x, & I don’t believe that it shoots in stereo. As of now it records when it feels like.

On your camera you can set it up to record to one channel or 2 channels.
