I saw this late late last night.

Surprisingly, this seems to be the most legit source of info so far, and what they say is encouraging.

Yep, very encouraging. Pretty much the direction I thought they were headed. Lots of info in there that was new to me, glad I checked it out.

[Nate Weaver] “Surprisingly, this seems to be the most legit source of info so far, and what they say is encouraging.”

Why Apple can’t just come out and say these things directly is what baffles me… They could put a stop to half the hysteria on this forum by just issuing a small press release or a FAQ detailing what they intend to restore in the coming updates. For a company that’s frequently praised for it’s marketing and PR work, this is a complete shambles.

Maybe, but I think you missed the real point for this forum. The FCPX forum is basically for bashing FCPX, FCPX Techniques is for those who are giving it a chance.

    Ha!

    The few, the proud.

My Saturday: Larry Jordan’s voice, this forum, coffee, and FCP X.

[Devin Crane] ” The FCPX forum is basically for bashing FCPX”

Well, more precisely, to talk about it rather than work with it.

But yes, this forum is for people getting to work, and I think Pogue offers some sound advice, both workarounds and solutions…and I’m increasingly thinking that third-party solutions ARE the solutions.

Now THAT is starting to veer off topic. 🙂 Anyone wanting to get to work, though, will find something helpful in Pogue’s column.
