FCPX import problems
After using FCPX for 10 years I now have a situation where I cannot import MPEG-4 Codec HEVC …. anyone know why?

Just checking, did you mean Hevc, h264, or both? If it’s just Hevc, are you on Final Cut Pro X 10.4? Reason why I’m asking is because Apple recently offered support for Hevc files in 10.4.
