FCPX Highlight text issue FIRST POST!!!!
Hi all, just wanted to say hello, this is my first post. I use the site lots but have never got around to joining and posting.
I’ve got a client, they effectively wanted a presentation recreating in FCPX for a trade show which is now more or less complete. The issue I have is that they want elements of the text highlighting. I had originally used the FCPX inbuilt Highlight effect but whilst it has lots of flexibility around the look of the effect there’s very little around the duration of the highlight element. They want to slow it down in places…as I understand it I can only do that by increasing the clip length….any advice or help would be massively appreciated.

You could try putting the title into a compound clip and then time remapping it.
