FCPX for 4K
I have been looking into filming in 4k, but I’m not sure if my current editing setup can handle it. I have a Macbook Pro running mac OS version 10.6.8. I attempted to get the update for Final Cut X but can’t because my version is to old. Does anyone know if my system will be able to editing footage from a 4K camera? Or will I have to upgrade all of my equipment?

You will have to upgrade. 4K editing takes a lot of horsepower. And FCX can do it…with a newer machine, and more current OS.
