  FCPX / Dolby Pro Logic II 5.1 workflow?

  Hypathetical scenario & Question:

  Dolby Pro Logic II (6 discrete channels) 5.1 audio is down encoded to the stereo input on a Go Pro via a Holophone Portamic Pro 5.1. I then need to decode the camera track audio back to 5.1 for use and to work with in FCPX. Surcode can be used to manually decode the audio before import to FCPX. Does anyone know of a way to skip the Surcode step and how it could be decoded on import or after import to FCPX in order to 5.1 (I will be 5.1 mixing it in FCPX)? Running FCPX 10.2.2 on an iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)
