    Hey everyone,

I’d really appreciate some help I’m so fed up at the moment.
I’ve got a project which I’ve been working months on and finally finished it and want to export but no matter what I do it crashes. Trying to export from FCPX itself it closes and states FCP quit unexpectedly and if I try through compressor that just comes back as failed.

At first I kept having problems with rendering and it constantly kept crashing or freezing by computer and bring up something like startup memory almost full, but I just reopened FCPX and press render all then it’d render a bit more then crash, I did this until it rendered the whole project.

Could it be the rendered files are corrupt because of this?

The files are converted into MPEG-4 and Quicktime files.

    Many Thanks In Advance.

This is odd behavior. I wouldn’t rule out a failing or full hard drive. If I were you I’d verify you have at least 10% of empty space on your disk, and try a repair disk in disk utility.

It’s so strange, I have around 200GB on my hard drive free.
