FCPX audio sync issues
Ran into a road block in FCPX and I need help. It involves the multicam audio sync.
I regularly edit multicam projects, audio sync works well, even with mismatch FPS (23.98+25, etc).
I’m currently attempting audio sync with a new set of files and it’s not working. I haven’t done anything different than before. I currently have multicam clips that are fully audio synced and when I went to try and make a new MC clip with the same video clips (that are already synced previously in an older MC clip) it now won’t sync. Just a long hang (1-2minutes) then says audio is inadequate to sync. Originally I thought maybe it was an issue with my new files but now that new syncs are unsuccessful even with older clips that have been synced before, I feel there’s an issue with the audio sync feature itself.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Or with the clips… Try manually syncing in the multicam editor- not too hard.

I encounter the same issue. The sync just stopped working.
I even try to sync identical clips and they don’t work either. The only difference from before is the size: 4K (now) vs HD.
