FCPX 10.4 won’t open 10.3 projects
Update: I went back to FCPX 10.3 just copying the program file from one of my time machine backups.
So problem one solved.Hi Forum,
without asking FCPX was updated on my mac.
After opening it asks me to update the old projects. That does not work, also using a backup does not work as FCPX stopped making automated backups more then one year ago.
Software recommends to install Final Cut Pro X Trial. Did that, but it is Version 10.2 telling me the files are made with a newer version of FCPX ; (I hate automated updated especially when they come without notice / notice about backward compatibility or rollback funktions.
How can I get back to FCPX 10.3?

Hardware: iMac 27\”, end2013, mac os 10.12.6, 32GB RAM

My FCPX 10.3 projects all update fine and open in 10.4. I am on OS 10.13.2, works fine on 2 Macs am MBP TOL 2016 and a TOL iMac 2012.
The only plugins I use are LUT Utility and ColorFinale Pro. Those work fine as well. But may not be necessary with the new CC and LUT support in 10.4.
