I didn’t think the XML would auto build, which is why I thought the Content Browser would be needed. But, this sounds like it’s smart enough to know what to do!

Good to know how it work ! But sometimes I just can’t load my xavc into fcp x, even use the sony browser or their plug-in….So I have to transcode them to prores first then reload into FCP.
