FcPX 10.1.3 Sloooooooow Export
Hiya All
I have a small project around 26 min that has been shot in AVCHD 1080i and been edited on Pro Rez. i have made Proxy media of all the files…. When I try and export the project, it would take forever and a day – Ummmmm About 6 hours…. At times it would hang at different part of the project but it would eventually export — EVENTUALLY !!!
Im running an 2.5 Imac with 10.9.3 – 16 Gigs of Ram
I have a WD thunderbolt duo drive – So the system is not slowThere are no MAJOR effects in the time line just a few keys added. Any ideas as to how to get this one resolved ?

You try exporting as Master?

Ya thats what I am doing….. Ive NEVER had this. a 30m programme would be export in a bout 15 to 20 min usually

Remove the proxies and see if you can export to Master from that end.
Ive had proxies get corrupt on me due to bad crashes.
you def have a rendered timeline correct?
before exporting I sometimes make sure that there are no lingering un-rendered clips.
