FCPX 10.0.6 – Specify Save Location for default destinations?
In FCPX 10.0.6, when I go to Share > 1080P for apple devices, which I use frequently, there is no way that I can find to select where it saves to. It just automatically goes to the Movies folder in my home directory. Has anyone else found a way to edit this?

Chris,
When I use “FILE>SHARE” or using the “Sharing” icon on the UI, I can specify where I want the file to go after encoding when I click the ‘NEXT’ button.This doesn’t sound like the case that you are having though?

In the Add to Playlist menu you need to select “Do Nothing” otherwise it will go straight to the Movies* folder without giving you the save options in the Next tab.
*User/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Movies
