FCPX 10.0.3 Blu-Ray just sits…???
Has anyone tried burning a Blu-Ray using the so-called, easy blu-ray creation function of FCPX 10.0.3? I tried burning a short 4 minute, Apple Pro Res HQ 1920×1080 video out of FCPX and it just sits. The timers are moving but the progress bars are not. I checked the log and saw in the fine print something about it going out as 720×480, which is not what I want. This has happend before but only in 10.0.1. It sat for over 5 hours today and nothing happend other than the encoding timer kept going up and up and up. Any ideas?

I’m experiencing the exact same thing right now with 10.0.3. It never happened to me on 10.01. It always worked. I skipped 10.0.2. Did anything resolve for you on this?

I just left it alone. I have toast and encore cs5.5. Toast is the only software that will burn a blu-ray with the brand internal burner I bought from micro center for 99.00. Encore cs5.5 does the same as fcpx 10.0.3…sits. Could be that both software needs something specific in the hardware to work. Toast may not.

Lame. I also tried assigning it as a Job Action in Compressor 4 and it again sits there. I’m wondering if it is possible that Apple just broke a somewhat major function with a new update and no one has noticed.
So here is my real question: Is blu ray out working for anyone on FCPX 10.0.3 or Compressor 4.0.2? If so, somebody speak up. Are you doing anything different?
