I have 10.0.0 and it’s not updating? It wont even show up in Software Update. Any ideas? Or even better, is there a way to manually download the update somehow?

I don’t think they’ve put if up yet – although there is now a Compressor 4 update available.

No doubt their servers are getting hit hard right now. Give it some time. You could also try signing in and out of your account in the app store.

Man, could have used this new Roles feature last night! Can’t get it show up yet either – but very excited to check it out…

    It’s all there now.

Updates for Motion, Compressor and Final Cut Pro.

So in about an hour and half it should all be installed.

The Motion update is 1.16 GB.

This looks like the 1.0 people would have been OK with.

I’ve been playing with it for some minutes. I like the ability to add transitions to Connected Clips which automatically makes them Secondary Storylines. That’s going to save on a lot of “select, Command G” keystrokes.

I am really happy with the audio roles, it works exactly how I thought it should work.

Now it’s waiting on the clever developers to create usefull XML tools.

This is what i wanted to do yesterday. So cool they made that a function so quick.

Yes, Roles are cool. Very elegant, in my opinion. I also like the one click export of stems.

You know what else is cool? Events and projects seem to be able to live on my NTFS metaSAN controlled server now. They didn’t work before this update, which had me a little nervous.

I tried importing an XML of an FCP7 project, that didn’t go very well. 🙂 Whatever, it will come, I’m sure.

    Looking forward to video out!
