January 21, 2014 at 8:37 pmIt’s not really odd. It might be inconvenient… but not odd. I realize you have a bit of a vendetta with all this, which is fine… but I’ve never lied with any of this stuff and feel comfortable with all the statements I’ve made previously… when the time comes, people will find out everything they need to know.
I’m sorry if it all feels weird to you… that’s just the way it goes. And BTW, Larry’s a good guy. We did talk, and not just to me… he wasn’t hallucinating.

I wouldn’t say that now – just retained a curiosity is all. I’m not exactly Italian on the subject. i just find odd how deathly quiet it all went. After such a big splash – i get you’re busy with the new business though.
But so in general – you would be comfortable saying that we will – at some point in the future, hear in detail about the hundred million dollar big six studio feature cut entirely on FCPX? Or is this likely to be one of those lifetime NDA’s that are popping up lately – they sound terrible btw.

“well he didn’t specify that – did he? – [*edit* scratch that – he did! god almighty]
but he did say directors plural. and that both had been using FCPX themselves on laptops.
for kicks you’d nearly punt for Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.

January 22, 2014 at 7:19 amHas this forum become the FCPX Flea Market? Since when do we let folks come in and sell their wares? Aren’t there banner ads and press releases etc for that?

January 22, 2014 at 7:45 amActually, try Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. They have a film going into post right now called Focus. The first time editor on it has a history with digital mastering, and Warner Bros. is quite famous for its water tank. It also recently wrapped filming in both New Orleans and Argentina. I would actually be surprised if this wasn’t the film.
