FCP/UNITY Problems?
Ok…Here’s what is happening and I hope someone can help. I am editing a weekly news show that my company does. I edit it the same way every week. I keep all of my graphics on the Avid Unity. Today, I go to import my graphics folder and I get an error that says, “File I/O Error.” So, I close FCP and try to copy my folder to another drive, then I get an error that says, “THe Finder could not complete the operation because some data in “file name” could not be read or written.(Error code – 36).” What is this? Any help would be great. Thanks.

FCP won’t work with Unity, will it? I use Xsan for media sharing FCP. Two totally different styles of drive initialization. Take a look at this article:
