Hello, has anyone else had an issue when importing a QT with chapter markers into iDVD ’08? I’ve completed many FCP programs w/ chapters and successfully created chaptered DVDs with the ’07 version. I then upgraded to iLife ’08 yesterday and now iDVD will not see the chapters in my new project. Any advice?
    Thanks
    Kevin

Thanks Jerry, I am just avoiding the inevitable… heard from colleagues that DVD SP has a difficult learning curve and since I do mostly weddings and low budget industrials, iDVD is the easiest and fastest and still produces a very professional looking finished product. I’ve never had a single problem until I upgraded to ’08 version. So I was hoping someone could shed light on any similar problems.
Thanks for your reference… I know, I know, just learn the damn program!
    Thanks again, happy holidays!

    Kevin,
I’m sure Jerry will agree with me. DVDSTP is not difficult at all. And if you are already working with FC is your application to get better DVDs. Don’t believe what you friends say. And it comes with lot of templates.

Thanks Rafael… good advice and it’s my main goal to accomplish by year’s end. I’m not a tech savvy guy, more creative end, so I keep my software confusions to a minimum when possible. iDVD can’t get any easier so I’ve stayed with it.
    Will try DVD SP!
    Happy holidays

[Kevin Ferias] “iDVD can’t get any easier so I’ve stayed with it.”

Sure it is easy, but do you really want your “professional” work to look the same as the DVD your clients 10 year old kid just made at home.

DVDSP is one of those programs that’s as hard as you want to make it. There’s lots of advanced functions in there but if you want to go simple you could pick up enough to make a good DVD is a couple of days.
