FCP7 updates still available on-line? -What a mess…

July 23, 2012 at 1:17 pmLooks like I will be doing a clean install of Snow Leopard to a new drive. Updating to Snow Leopard from Leopard has completely hosed my MacPro system. More applications don’t work than do work. Kernel Panics, LifeType, DVD Studio Pro and Compressor all “suddenly quit”, messed up non-Apple apps and driver issues all over the place. What a mess. Shouldn’t be this way for software all written by Apple. I can see needing to update third party apps but those published by Apple shouldn’t be having this many problems. I updated my laptop and didn’t have any of these issues, so I thought I’d do the MacPro as well. Needless to say, it didn’t go so well. Only clean installs from this point on.
I will be re-installing Studio 3 and Livetype from Studio two along with MANY other apps. Before starting, are the updates for Studio 3 still available on-line to get the various parts of Studio up to the proper versions?
Also, will I still need to de-authorize/reauthorize my Creative Suite apps?E=MC2+/-2db

July 24, 2012 at 1:31 pmPhase one went well yesterday. Snow Leopard installed and updated. New drivers for the RAIDs installed and working. Office installed and working after a few updates ( have email again without using my phone). Disk Warrior working again.
Will install Final Cut Studio 3, Boris packages and Creative Suite tonight.
So far, so good.E=MC2+/-2db
