    FCP7 Tooltips has stopped working even though it is switched on

    I know many people hate it but I find tooltips useful. I am a very occasional editor and so I forget what certain buttons are.

    For some reason though tool tips is not showing up, even though it is switched on in the general tab of the preferences.

    Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
