FCP7 round-tripping w/ Motion5?
Gentleman,
Just looking for clarification of many threads:FCP7 sends to Motion 4 & 5; defaulting to 5, but finding Motion 4 if it’s already running.
My question is does Motion 5 send back to FCP7, or does one “publish” and import into FCP (as I understand you do with FCPX)?
Lastly, has anyone worked with a project/composition created in Motion 5 and imported/sent to FCP7? It renders into the timeline, yes?
Even though Apple may treat Motion like Color someday (RIP), I’d still risk 50$ for a 64bit compositing app IF it plays well with FCP7. FCPX will have to wait till it’s out of diapers…Thanks in advance, ML

AFAIK there’s no round tripping that way- Motion 5 projects cannot be opened in FCP 7.
