FCP7 Multi-core on Import, AVCHD
In some testing, I just imported AVCHD to ProRes Proxy and noticed that on my Macbook Pro it imported at about 1.5:1 and completely used both cores of the processor.
Can anyone check to see if it was the same in FCP6? I’m not by an FCP6 machine right now:)
This could be a good sign though. Can’t wait to test an 8-core machine.
