  FCP7 & Mountain Lion

  I have a client that decided to update to Mountain Lion (updated to Lion and had problems then decided to update to Mountain Lion) and is now having problems with FCP7. When he opens a project several things happen:

  1. In Boris3D Text lower-third lines of text disappear. If he modifies the file sometimes it will reappear.
  2. All tabs disappear (sequences, Motion, filters, bins etc) and the gray bar above the timeline turns red.

  I’ve tried searching around for similar problems but I haven’t been able to find any answers. I tried trashing preferences, rebooting etc. He can’t reinstall because he can’t find his discs after moving.

  Any thoughts?
