FCP7 Media Manager Audio Levels Changing
FCP7 Editors: Have you run into an issue when using Media Manager that turns down the clip audio on random tracks? I consolidated a feature doc and when we opened up the cleaned sequences, some of the audio levels are now turned down.
Anyone have a quick fix, insight or comments?

Thanks for the reply Dave,
The issue is that the actual keyframe leveling on random individual clips has either been blown away completely or the audio levels are turned all the way down.
By doing this, aren’t I just re-rendering the same, incorrect levels?

never seen that.
it may have been due to corrupt prefs,
or a corrupt sequence?was your media Kosher?
not H264 or mp3?fixes i can think of include:
– trash your prefs, and try again
– do another MM, this time creating offline clips (use the same handle duration)
you *might* be able to reconnect, but frankly i doubt it will be easy.another thought:
run your original sequence through FCP Reconnect ($60 from Video Toolshed),
and reconnect to the new media.nick
