FCP7 Canvas lighter/darker during Playback vs Paused
Hi,
I couldn’t find a post on this, but my FCP7 Canvas is either lighter during Playback, or darker when Playback is Paused. I just went from FCP6 to FCP7, and I can’t ever remember this happening.
I am on a iMAC 27″ i7, 4GB RAM, editing from a CalDigit FW800 Drive, editing DVCProHD 720p24N footage from the HVX200. ***No I don’t have an external Monitor (yet).
Yes, I know that I’m a little with the iMac, but I worked on a MBP on FC6 for years and never had this happen.
My thought is that I don’t know which image is true. But oh, I just did a test to see if the viewer was the same as the canvas, and they are the same at the lighter image. Of course, this is rough cutting so no color correction or anything. I just have a quick lower 3rd custom template from Motion in the timeline.
But now I just rendered the timeline and it stopped! Weird!
Anyway, if anybody has any thoughts I’d love to hear them.
