  • FCP7 – Audio Keyframes disappearing or adding themselves automatically

    Hi all,

A random issue has cropped up in the office with one of our edit’s.
As I understand it one of our editor’s is adding keyframes to his audio when mixing it on the timeline. It appears that after rendering the keyframes just dissappear, making it look like the audio mix hasn’t been done at all.

He has also just showen me a brand new clip on a brand new timeline where FCP has seemingly added a load of keyframes to the second track of audio which in itself is empty as the clip only has 1 channel of audio, the channel with audio is as it should be with no keyframes.

This does seem isolated to one of our edit machines so I’m looking at wipeing preferences but I wanted to see if anyone here has any idea as to what’s going on or if it’s just FCP playing silly buggers.

    Thanks

My guess would be the usual thing: Trash preferences, better to use digital rebellion software.

    cheers
