July 6, 2011 at 2:43 pmEverest, Apple published a recommended best practice article June 27, 2011 related to installs of FCP X if you already have FC Studio 3. Both methods of using the same or different partitions are described. If the same partition for both applications is used, the trick is simply opening and closing Motion 4 before any other FCP Studio app is used:
