  FCP7 and Boris Generators

  Hi Folks,

  It has come to our attention that there is an issue with the Boris Generators in Apple Final Cut Pro 7. The problem manifests itself as a jittery render in field rendered projects and is apparent with the generators in the following products: RED 4.3, Graffiti 5.3, FX 9.3 as well as the Title Crawl, Title 3D, Text Scrambler and Vector Shape generators.

  We are currently working with Apple to resolve the issue and expect to have a solution soon.

  While you await a solution I’d like to let you know of a workaround … instead of using one of the Generators, cut a slug into the timeline and apply the Boris filter to the slug, which will generate a smooth result in field rendered projects.

  As soon as a solution to the Apple FCP Generator problem is available, I will post a note in this forum.
