FCP6 HDV back out to Sony Z1 HAS ANYONE DONE THIS YET
I can’t get video out to a Sony Z1 using FCP6
camera settings: 1. vcr hdv/dv set to hdv 2. i-link conv set to off
in fcp: av settings video playback 1440 x 1080 60i is ghosted graFCP6y
under view external video is off even thou i try to switch it onHAS ANYONE OUTPUT TO A Z1 YET IN FCP6

Quit the application. Trash your preferences. Reboot. Turn on the camera in VCR mode set to HDV. Start up the application. Set the correct HDV settings for Sony 1080i. Does the application recognize the camera?

You can’t use HDV as a playback device. It will only work when using Print to Video.
