fcp5 unable to open project
My fcp is unable to open my project. This project had some corrupted files, which I threw out and started to recapture. One timeline is full of captured media which is important. I know it’s in there. All the media (recently recaptured and definitely in there) plays on QT. When open, there is no media offline message, or can’t find message, it just says “unable ot open project file”. help

Have you done any editing? If it’s only just been captured you can start a new project and import all of the media from your scratch drive.

Yes and no. I’ve captured an hour or so footage and am hoping to have the timecode from that footage even though its now offline (to recapture). Also I do have a half hour program on it that has been edited and shouldn’t be offline.

Was able to open up auto saved file that had much of what I needed. Good ol’ autosave!
