    Hi,

I have to capture and edit DVCPRO50 using 24p advanced pulldown.

    I have FCP5.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could breakdown how to setup FCP5 to capture and edit DVCPRO50 using 24p advanced pulldown.

I don’t even know what an “advanced pulldown” is. So if you could be as simple and specific as possible, that would be a great help.

If you don’t have the time to write this out, could you please refer me to a resource that will show me how to do this. Whether it be another website or a chapter in the FCP5 manual.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Well, this was written by Graeme concerning shooting with the DVX-100, but it should be pertinent for you as well:

    That was helpful. Thank you.

Still, if anyone can provide specific detail on what the settings should be to capture and edit DVCPRO50 using the 24PA mode, I would greatly appreciate it. To be even more specific, it would be beyond awesome if you could even provide something as clear as a screen shot of the FCP settings.

    Thank you,
    Jack
