I am trying to cut 8 sequences using FCP5. The orinal footage is a mix of DVCPRO100, Maya [exported from AE as animation then transcoded to DVCPRO100 29.97], and some AE animations transcoded as previously mentioned. As far as hardware, I have a Dual 2.5, 10.3.9, 8GB Ram, and work off a Fiber Channel 7TB XSan raid.

I have a feeling that there’s something wrong with the San, but that’s way out of league, and frankly the IT manager is working on it [i.e. we’ve had problems before]. But I keep getting Drop frame warnings/hiccups and it’s making it nearly impossible to work with. Is/Has anyone else had any issues running FCP5 on a 10.3.9 machine?

    Thanks
