  FCP5 – Autosave isn’t working…AGAIN

  After 4.5 sorted out my autosave woes on my dual 2GHz I’ve moved to Tiger and FCP5 on a whole new clean HD and install, and now it autosaves at totally random times. It’s set on 15 minutes and it’ll save at anything from 12 minutes to over 1 hour.
  All latest drivers, AJA IO, Huge DualMax 1.2TB. 2.5GB RAM

  And here’s the thing…

  I bought and installed a new system for a client, on a Dual 2.7 with an IO, 2.5GB RAM, Lacie PCI FW800 card and 3x Lacie 320GB extreme HDs, all latest drivers firmware etc. and it’s doing the same thing.

  That’s using new FCP 5 projects on two virgin systems! Time to delete the preferences I think.

  But apart from this problem, both systems seem OK.
  You may all want to check that you don’t have the same problem back again.
