i am using fcp5. i have 3 tracks of video from 3 cams of a live event i am wittling down. not using multiclip. 2 sources were 16:9 and 1 was 4:3. i captured the 16:9 ntsc anamorphic. the 4:3 ntsc. each source track had 2 tapes/files. on the timeline i selected anamorphic view. at first i only had the 16:9 footage and started editing the first tapes/file. when i added the 2nd tapes/files on the same timeline as their pt 1, pt 2 was not anamorphic and it tried to do a wipe at overlaps between anamorphic and 4:3. it also wanted to be rendered. plus the captured pt 2 anamorphic footage is now 4:3 on the timeline. also one track is heavily pixelated like it wants to be rendered. but there is nothing to render. i then took all the footage (6 peices) and put it in a new sequence on 3 tracks. i made it anamorphic in timeline options. now the 4:3 footage looks pixleated like it needs to be renedered. everything is anamorphic. needless to say, i am going crazy. thx in advance.
