FCP2 Out of Memory alert
Everytime I open up my FCP2 I automatically get “Error: Out of Memory”
If I open a sequence or import a video, same thing happens.
I’m a long-time FCP user and I’m bewildered.
HELP!

Is it a large timeline? or do you have a lot of stills?
try copy / paste to a new project/timeline, or lower your still cache in memory and cache in system settings.paul w

Do a search here for ‘out of memory’. It has nothing to do with RAM.
Revert to an autosaved version of the project – cures this usually.
