    FCP xml import fail

    I get this message when importing an FCP 7 xml into PP CS6.

    Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project.

    I tried an xml that only have 1 small rendered DVCPRO HD clip & it worked fine – so the workflow is working.. It just crashes when I import a project that has graphics & such – even when rendered. Also DVCPRO HD footage. 720. Any idea what the problem could be?

    What version of XML is it? Also you might want to try and clear your preferences.

    Hi Tero. Thank you for your reply. Apple XML Interchangeable format, version 5. From FCP 7 into Premiere Pro CS6. Which preferences should I clear. I’m new to PrPro.
