FCP X Worldwide Pricing

I bought FCP X on the India app store and my card was charged Rs. 13,976.74 for FCP X, while Motion 5 and Compressor came in at Rs. 2,329.07 each. At the US price of $ 299 for FCP X and $49 for Motion and Compressor, I was charged at Rs 46.74 to the dollar. While the official rate is Rs 44.5 to the dollar.

So, out here the card company made the extra bucks in the exchange rate while Apple got $ 299 and $ 49 from me.

Apple yesterday reduced the price of their apps to Australian customers.

FCP X came down from Aus$349 to Aus$319, maybe they are listening.

That is the price less the GST. They finally realised that there is NO gst on software. They have been charging gst on software for years and I have been claiming it back!
