    Does the Flavoursys.com Stawberry/Mint hardware/software work with Final Cut Pro X 10.1?
I am just now starting to explore the different SAN options for a multi seat FCP X work environment.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
I am considering the Small Tree SAN option, and I saw a thread that mentioned this Strawberry hardware file management system and it looks pretty cool but the demo shows FCP 7 and AVID but not FCP X.
So… I wasn’t sure if this is compatible or not.

If there are better SAN File Management options for FCP X, let me know.

    Hi Randy,

Talked to the Flavoursys folks last year about this. They told me they have no plans for supporting FCP X. I’m looking at setting up a small test environment with Mint and Premiere Pro, Avid MC, and FCP 7 to see how all three play together.

    Cheers,
    Ernesto

Flavoursys/Strawbery works fine with FCPX 10.0, but we have to add a metadata server to our system so that it works with Mavericks and FCP 10.1. Then new version of Strawberry, 4.0, is going to be a great improvement over the current version, but I believe it’s still in Beta testing.

Hi folks, FCPX is not an officially certified Strawberry application but a lot of our customers are using it with Strawberry. Currently we don’t have any metadata integration with FCPx but as we’ll see a growing demand we will come up with something. Strawberry 4 Beta was finished in April and is now released as a stable version. With that said, Strawberry works will with FCPx project and file handling on the storage.
