FCP X Roles – Will only export mono, not stereo or surround.
I am attempting to export my audio to be mixed in a different program. I have found that when I attempt to export the audio via the roles feature it does not export roles as either stereo or surround. It attempts to, then gets to 97% and stays there. I changed the roles to export as Mono and they worked, however this useless as it is music.
I have simply no idea at all why this doesn’t work, has anyone else experienced this, and have a workaround, or any form of explanation?
As an aside I also can’t export audio on its own. Final Cut will try, open up the monitor thing, attempt an export and then fail.

Haven’t had this problem. Sounds like you might have a corrupted audio file in there somewhere. I would try to isolate it by disabling clips with “v”.
