FCP X (Newest Version 10.0.3) to FCP 7.0.3
Hi, I haven’t posted here before but I have a project being handed off to me that was originated in fcpx and I’m running 7.0. I know automatic duck has the ability to convert x-7.0, but not the latest version, v10.0.3. Is there a way to get this 10.0.3 project into a 7.0.3 project? Would opening the project in 10.0.2 for example, allow me to then export it in a way the auto duck can convert it to 7.0.3?
Seeing that I may need to bite the bullet and get X, just not right this second….

The way to do it is to purchase the Xto7 software by assisted editing.

Oh, how awesome! I saw the 7toX, but for some reason didn’t know they’d addressed this backward compatibility issue. Thanks, I’ll try it! Does anybody use automatic duck for anything then?
