Ha! Good, then Apple won’t make any money on this crime, as the pros won’t pay, and the skater kids will steal it.

Apple just screwed us, so Apple may as well know how it feels.

Terrible attitude to have. Apple is more than allowed to release whatever they want, and you are more than allowed to read the reactions from people who try it out and then purchase it or not.

True. But cynical or not, they didn’t release a trial because of their piss poor attitude towards their users…there is no “try out” here…I went to 2 apple stores, neither had it…

What about the YouTube tutorial for converting iMovie to be more like FCP X? I would assume that it would be close enough to get a good idea.

[Jamie Franklin] “they didn’t release a trial”

Oh, they released a trial alright Jamie… That’s what FCP X is.

The paradigm shift you hear so much about is just that Apple wants everyone to pay them for the privilege of testing the trial.
