FCP X disappeared after installing FCP Studio?
Hi
I had FCP X installed on my Macbook Pro.
I wanted to have the ‘old’ Final Cut Pro Studio on it as well, so I grabbed the installation disks… and after a few failed installation attempts finally got it to stick.But now FCP X seems to have completely disappeared?!
Anybody have any insight on what might have happened here?

Reinstall FCPX. This should cause FCP Studio apps to end up in a separate folder within the Applications folder. FCP “legacy” and FCPX conflict. Since FCPX didn’t exist at the time of “legacy” the FCP Studio installer doesn’t account for this. Thus the apps appear at the top level of the Applications folder, which is a no-no.
