Hello I am looking for some classes in FCP X, I understand the basics and have taken some online workshops and tutorials, however like a lot of film people I find I learn best with some hands on learning in an environment with other enthusiasts. Does anyone know of some workshops on the west coast, California or even Arizona. Looking for at least a 2 day course and will go as long as a week, thanks

Diana Weynand who writes the Apple Certified Training books has a LIVE online course. Check out her website, weynand.com

And if you’re looking for a “live” class. Diana’s teaching a 3 day Apple Certification for FCP-X course in Tucson that starts next Thursday, July 11th. (I’m driving in to TA that particular class)

It’s a great immersive look at all of what FCP-X does.

I have been using Ripple Training’s FCPX tutorial and the Advanced Editing tutorial. Great stuff. I learn some new little trick with every module.
