FCP X Camera Archives
Thrilled by the FCP X Camera Archive function, especially ability to capture my DVCAM tapes.
Archives are simply Mac Finder packaged folders, not footage that has been ingested into FCP X.
Questions:
1) Can Archives be moved to another drive?
2) Can Archives be renamed?
3) Can an Archive created from DSLR media on a laptop in the field be moved to my edit workstation?
4) Can Archives be indexed with CatDV?
This is basic information. I will figure it out on my own, but it would save time if anyone could provide guidance.

I don’t have the answers but I’m looking for them, too. I have a number of FCPX archives on a drive and am getting an error message when I try to copy them to another drive. It’ll be Wednesday before I get a chance to experiment/troubleshoot but I’d like to find out what the perimeters are, too
