Still playing around with motion to FCP X publishing features.

    Just a basic picture zoomer.

    BG Auto Zoomer

Extract to a folder of your choosing inside /user name / movies / motion templates / effects
(e.g extract to custom effects category)

Performs a zoom on the clip from start to finish. Just tell it how much bigger you want it at the end.

Also the ability to offset end position so that you can choose your own framing

Fade in and Out option as well.

    Hope it’s of use.

    Cheers,

    Brendan

Good thinking. I was playing around with the same idea and I added a Spin behaviour in there as well as that’s always nice to have as an option for stills.

I had a play with adding the spin behaviour as well, but it kinda did not work as I expected. Anything over 4 – 5 degrees rotation and it would spin all the way around.

I might have another look at it.

    Cheers,

You need to use Ramp to final value otherwise with Continuous Rate the value is incremental …

    Here’s an updated version.

    2537_bgautozoomerwithspin.zip

    Completley re-written for 64bit

Introducing a new paradigm in effects presets.

(p.s also a spin control has been added)

    😉

I would just like to say that for those of you who are creating effects and giving them away… that you are one of the true bright spots in the FCPX experience…
