FCP X and Final Cut Express Projects
Will Final Cut Pro X accept Final Cut Express Projects to work with ? I have been working with Final Cut Express 4.0.1 and 4.0 on an OS 10.9.5 Mavericks operating system. I’m planning to upgrade to a newer OS and FCP X. And would like to bring my old files/and unfinished projects into the new system.

No. You can export final timelines from FCP Express and then import as media clips into X. But there is zero project compatibility between the two.
