On a Westmere tower running Lion, I took out the Radeon card and replaced it with a Decklink Extreme 4k. FCP worked fine for 2 days. Day 3, I get “FCP requires 128 MB VRAM, you have 0”. ???

Radeon card is a VIDEO card…Graphics Processor Unit…GPU. Drives your computer monitors and graphics interface. The Decklink is a video input/output card…completely different. You need the GPU card…the computer can’t really work without one.

Now…did you take out your SECOND GPU card and put in the Decklink? Just to be clear…
