FCP wont let me render
PLEASE HELP
Every time I go to export as an mpg 2 from FCP it says I need to render before exporting, however, it then wont let me render.
The only way I can manage to render is by putting an effect on. But as at the moment im working on a HDV project so it takes an hour to render, which is an hour I dont have.
I’ve tried trashing prefs.
I’m pretty desperate.

Why on earth would you want to render an mpeg2 out of FCP? I don’t even think that’s possible anymore. That’s why there’s Compressor.
On another note, rejected renders for me have been fixed by creating a new project and copying and pasting everything from the offender over to it. Do a rename and it should work. That project may be corrupt.
