FCP wont boot under non admin account on volume license
I work at a college and we have a mini lan network in the office and a server. all the machines work fine but one machine will not load fcp 6 under a non-admin account. to trouble shoot this problem i made it a admin account still wont load it boots then quits out, then i checked the volume license we have 9 opens seats so that is not it and I re-installed everything still same problem. Under the problem account fcp will boot then quit out but motion soundtrack ect boots and runs no problem it seems that this one account will not boot fcp its weird any suggestions?

Trash your preferences. Boot the application not a project. When exactly does it fail?

its doing exactly what it would do if I was using a license on the same network but quits after the boot dialogue and does not say “detect on same network ect ect” so basically if that did not make sense the fcp window comes up it loads all the rt crap then actis as if it will boot then quits. it only seems to happen when its not an admin account but all the other programs boot. I”ll trash prefs and let you know but if you have other suggestions please let me know

Does the splash screen appear? If not, completely uninstall and reinstall the applications. If it does appear, please watch it closely and report on EXACTLY when in the booth sequence it closes.
