FCP with Motion to Color

[David Wakeling] “It sounds like I need to “export selection” for every clip in Motion, then rebuild the FCP timeline with those clips, then “send to color.” is that correct? What if I utilize different blending modes in Motion, or use a behavior to transition from one clip to another? “

I always recommend people render out their Motion files in Motion, then bring those into FCP. As long as those files are not rendered in the Animation codec, Color will handle them just fine. It’s just the .motn files that Color cannot handle right now.
